The Psychiatric Research Institute Director’s Club is an annual giving society established to support and further the Psychiatric Research Institute (PRI) mission. It has a threefold purpose: promoting the highest quality of care for people with mental illness and chemical dependency; pursuing excellence in care through education; and transforming mental health care through research.
Director’s Club funds provide the resources essential for strengthening PRI programs and retaining talented staff, ensuring that the institute remains well-equipped to address the mental health needs of Arkansas and the surrounding region. Your annual gift is critical to supporting our life-changing work year after year, and it enables the Director of PRI to respond immediately to the needs of our programs.
As a member of the Director’s Club, you will take pride in knowing that your membership provides discretionary funds that allow the director to address the institute’s greatest needs. Since its inception, the Director’s Club has provided funding to support:
- Building and maintaining PRI programs such as the Arkansas Building Effective Services for Trauma (ARBEST) program and the Helen L. Porter and James T. Dyke Brain Imaging Research Center
- Hosting community events to promote planned and existing programs; and
- Providing special recognition for the outstanding work of our clinicians and researchers.

* A gift of only $500 is required if you are a current member of the UAMS Chancellor’s Circle and you designated $500 of your Chancellor’s Circle membership payment to the PRI Director’s Club.
